Great to see everyone had a good time, not that there was any doubt . Nice to see some familiar faces, including a Queenslander . Well done DJ, another success.

Sorry I couldn't be there, that chocolate ripple cake looks good, or should I say looked good . Hey Skew, did anyone else get any

Everyone managed to get some this time. Although we waited until Groggy went home. We made Skew eat the last bit under sufferance.

Robomaniac...here are some pics of one of the offcuts from your wood you found (made it after getting home)

It turned up nice but still damp so bound to move and or ripple. The finish is shellawax
Size is about 120mm dia and 50mm deep.
    Cheers,

    Chipman
That does look good - well done. That sort of figure was the sort of thing I was hoping for so I can't wait to get into the rest of it.

DJ - YOUR blade indeed, your generosity will not be forgotten even after I have placed my own order and returned the favour
    Cheers,
    Shannon.

Ahh looks like it a great time to me, might have to get a lathe, a check flannelet shirt, grow a beard, get a veranda over the tool shed but the purple pants may be going a little too far.

PS I can make ripper chocolate ripple cakes, with King Island cream, absolute decadence!
