    Default whats happening on the gold coast?

    Hi guys, heading up to the gold coast over the next
    few days , was wondering if there are any events
    or places of interest (woodie things) any get togethers etc!
    Any info would be appreciated

    Well I'm home and you are welcome to come around. Busy making some pepper grinders at the moment in the carport because the workshop hasn't been cleaned up since I left . Things are pretty quite woodworking wise due to the Xmas shutdown and/or people going away for holiday (like yourself ).

    Do WW Forum members on the GC still have Australia Day get togethers? I remember attending one at Da Sensai's place and getting a lump of Blackwood at the swap. It's still awaiting a suitable project...

    That's the trouble going away. The clean up elves go on strike, as well as holidays, no one to oversee them that's the problem
    Even when I'm home, they don't turn up for work, but the little blighter's come in at night and move things around!!
