    Default What Wood Is it??

    Hi all, I was given this Log of wood it seem to have come from a Weeping Cherry Can anyone confirm?

    Tony,

    The log with the bark on it looks very much like the weeping cherry tree we have in our yard.

    Nice work on the finished pieces.

    Yep. Looks like cherry. Should have also smelt like you were turning fruit cake. I love the smell.

    very nice tony,you have made the most with what you
    had ,i like the dark edges too!!! well done mate
    i would agree with cherry,we have one in our front yard
    hhhhmmmm i wonder if it would be missed
