    Default Wood Lathe - Recommendations

    Hello,
    This has probably been covered some where before but my first day here so apologies if going over old ground.
    Has anyone got experience with the Sherwood wood lathe 406x1055 EVS (3k approx)?
    I want something to turn large dense timber that stops smaller lathes or vibrates them to death. Also turn very fine materials including plastics, so needs to be good quality. Is a lot of money so any advice, opinions on this lathe or alternates would be much appreciated

    Look at Woodfast lathes.
    I was in your shoes 11 or so years ago, cannot fault the lathe I got, M910.
