Wooden fruit bowl with wooden fruit
I always wanted te make a fruit bowl with wooden fruit. Today I finished this project. In my humble opinion, it is beautifull, al that different colors!
The fruits are:
Plums, made from robinia and purple heart wood
Pears, made from cherry and spalted cherry wood
Cherries: made from bloodwood and purpleheart
Lemon: made from Pau amarello
Apples: made form robinia and Padouk.
Fineshed with shellawax. The black stalks are made from recycled ebony piano keys.
The bowls is made from cherry wood.
Enjoy watching!

That is fantastic work. I agree with your humble opinion, it is beuatiful. Very well thought out colours and the shapes are excellent. I tried doing a pear once and it didn't look anything like one so you have done a good job.
Thanks for sharing with us.

Excellent work, gorgeous form, shapes and colors, well done! The piano keys are an interesting touch, I would have used a thin stick, like your cherries.
