    Default woodmaster model 45009 - router/lathe attachment

    Hello All,
Briefly, by way of background, this atttachment is suited to making table legs, spindles etc. The router slides on a frame
and the workpiece can be rotated with a handle. Flutes and vertical decorations can be cut etc. If anyone has this attachment or
similar I would like to contact and discuss proper usage. They were made by Vermont US (now Bosch) and a similar one by Trend (UK).
As far as I can ascertain they are not being made anymore? Thank you for your help. John M.

I did a Google search and came up with this:

    https://www.woodworkforums.com/f221/r...valent-102401/

Set it up with a stick of wood and power off and play with it. How it works should become apparent.

When you do a first test cut take only a light skim cut until you see how things are going.

Securely fasten it to a base before starting so you don't have a running router on a machine flopping around.
So much timber, so little time.

same as the sears routercrafter. any lathe can be modified to make the same cuts. some take more work than others.
