Try Holmesglen TAFE. They used to run hobby woodworking courses but not sure about turning.

W' Turning Courses.
Hi Darkside5374,
As TL said, much better going to a Wood Club.
TAFE, don't appear to be interested in Wood Turning.
I'm almost certain you will be well looked after by Joining up.
They will also guide you as to what to buy, as in Lathe & Tools.Last edited by issatree; 11th July 2011 at 07:53 PM. Reason: Wrong Name.

issatree.

Hi Darkside,
Welcome to the forum.
If you're interested in woodturning, I suggest you to visit one of the wood club, and turning group will help you.
There's one in Mount Waverley and Bob Morrison is running woodturning lesson soon.
Cost: $110 for 6 weeks duration, 3 hours / night on Tuesday night 6:30pm – 9:30pm.
For more information, contact Bob (03) 5940 1609
