    Spent 6 hours in the shed today roughing out some of the Red Alder and Silky Oak I scored the other day. Didn't go near the grinder once, did it all with my home made Ci1 and my Woodcut Bowl Saver.

    I thought this thread was all about long or dainty curlies. If it's also about bulk, here's a few of mine. I'd estimate about 18 garbo bags worth.

    That 'pathway' where I get to the lathe and stand to turn is approx 8" deep. My strict workshop rule is to clean up the shavings when I can no longer reach down to the toolrest.....
