Removing bathroom floor & screed
Folks,
I'm about to rip up an the screed/tiles on an old bathroom floor. I'll probably start by attacking it with a sledge and wedge. Would hiring a jack hammer with a wedge bit make it easier or is that overkill? Perhaps a hammer drill of some sort? Any advice? Thanks.

I found a $69 rotary hammer from Bunnies was fine for taking tile and screed off a concrete slab. You'd only need a jack hammer if you were breaking up the slab itself. I killed the rotary hammer trying to cut two holes through a 6in paving slab outside.
If the screed and tiles is over a timber floor you might even find a 2lb hammer and a crow bar are sufficient.
