Hello,

This is my first post here, and its not a happy one and I am looking for some help.

I think the problem I am having is that when it rains water runs down the side of the garage and seaps in between the slab and wall (is a colorbond garage).

The block is on a bit of a slope so the garage is built into the hill and the dirt comes up about halfway up the back wall (there is some sort of board / plastic between the wall and dirt but this leaves gaps along the wall as the colorbond is sort of ribbed).

I thought I had fixed it by using some expanding foam inbetween the board and wall to try and stop the water running down the wall, but it still seems to happen so I am now looking at a permanent way of fixing the problem.

I am hoping to try and fix this myself, I am willing to give most things a go but I am in no way a professional.

I was thinking of digging down the outside of the wall and putting some sort of drain that runs along the length of the wall between the bottom of the wall and next to the slab and hook it up to the drain.

I was also thinking of using some sort of sealant from the inside oif the garage but then I guess the problem would be having all that water behind the wall with nowhere to go

Sorry if I haven't explained it very well, kind of hard to describe in text.

I am open to ideas.

Thanks in advance for your help
