I have been using Boral's Connex series besser blocks as garden bed borders.
As I have a slight slope, I thought they would make an ideal footing for the relocation of my garden shed.
So I set the blocks into a light cement bed, and made up an angle-iron frame that measured just inside the shed walls.
I built up the centre with quarry rubble to a 75mm slab.
When I did the pour (did it myself with a 2cf mixer) the concrete filled the voids in the blocks, which have internal ports to tie the whole lot together.
The angle frame made it easy to screed off, and with the shed in place, no water will be getting in.

My simple solution.
