I couldn't be the only one to face this issue...

I'm building a 7200x 3800 cedar shed. Half is on existing slab, the other half on new slab. The new section of slab i will make sure is flush with the walls of the shed - no problems at all.

The old slab is too close to the fence, so i have to set the shed back which will leave a lip of about 100cm, so water will probably run down the walls, pool in the concrete and run underneath. On another side it's part of a big slab that runs down the driveway.

How do i water proof? I was thinking of cutting the concrete, but it seems a huge job. I've been told my angle grinder is too small & hire of a concrete cutter is expensive. Maybe i could brick bolster little channels every 10cm or so?

Once the wall goes up, there is insufficient space between fence & wall to get in and silicone or anything.

Ideas?
