Older building cheap window glass
working on old ex school teachers house and very limited budget.
The 2 big windows for bedrooms at rear of house leave a lot to be desired and get cold easily, prevailing wind hits against them.
question is would adding clear window tint over them...even both sides make a difference insulation wise.I would love to grow my own food, but I can not find bacon seeds

I don't believe it would make any appreciable difference, heavy curtains would be a better option

You can get a psuedo double glaze film, applied with tape and heat shrunk to tighten.
Obviously not robust so no good if the window is likely to be pushed etc.
Eg Window Insulation Film — EnviroShop
I'd use that in conjunction with curtains.
And having just got my covid wfh winter power bill, I should do the same..
