I have been an avid reader of the forum, picking up many hints and tips.

I have an in cavity sliding door from my kitchen to the laundry and the laundry leads outside.

Recently on very hot days (35+ centigrade) when I put the air condition on, after a while this sliding door bows inward making it very hard to slide open.

Can someone explain why this happens and what I can do to rectify the problem.

The door is timber and NOT solid and is about 20 years old.
