Glass cracking after being re-puttied
Hi we have just finished having the outside of the house painted, we have old timber casement windows and the putty was all cracked ..... the painters did not remove the glass they just chipped out the putty and redid them, a couple of weeks on we are starting to notice the glass in a few windows is cracking ...... anybody seen this before, I assume as the putty is setting its putting pressure on the windows ...... I have not spoken to them yet just wanted to educate myself a little.
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated.
