Hiya,
I'm looking to convert this unused bar into a storage area. Wife thinks we should have mulitfold doors, which i think would look nice also. Wife is in a wheelchair so mulitfold should allow decent light and access. I'm a full time carer and have the time to do the job myself and would like to save the dosh but have not done doors before. So a couple of noob questions i guess:

- Should i be looking to build in place or build a frame and then raise it.
- What size should header be (depends on weight & no. doors?)
- What size and type of studs should i be using?
- Any recommendations for where to get wood, hardware and doors from(Willetton, Perth). Good quality preferred, I'm not looking for fancy doors, just something simple and nice but not flat. I've noted the doors at Bunnings, they seem ok.

Here are some of the details:
Opening is 2140wide 2440high.
Internal brick walls to the sides.
Joist runs along the new frame.
All doors to fold against the far wall.

I've read some of the basics here:
Home Tips : How to Build an Interior Wall
Framing a Wall - a knol by Jared Jackson
DIY Wall Framing for a New Door | Pictures and instructions for framing a wall and installing a new king stud for a new door

Any help on where to start would be appreciated.
Thanks heaps,
Steve
