Hi, I'm installing a 2340x1200 entrance door with hinges.

I can't justify the cost of a pivot door system.

Now, what hinges do you recommend?

I had a quick look on ebay and it seems 100 X 75 X 2.5mm was the way to go.

I plan on putting 4 hinges on the door.

I saw these on ebay:

Door Hinges Stainless Steel 100mm x 75mm x 3mm | eBay

10 Pairs of Door Hinges - Stainless Steel 100 x 75 x 3mm | eBay

The other ones I was looking at, but non-bearing ones are:

New Door Hinge Vinco SS Butt 100x75x1.6mm Fixed Pin SSH1003L-F | eBay

Door Hinges - Architect Brand - Polished Stainless Steel | eBay

Any reasons why I should avoid the ebay ones?

What is the bearing used for? to make the door easier to open?

Also what screws should I use?

Thank you for your advice.
