Insect screens on windows
I'm starting the renovation of 4 pairs of windows, approx 1500 x 1800 each. They are casement windows in opposite pairs (ie opening 3000 x 1800, casements are hinged on their vertical edge so they swing like a door, stays on the outside edges).
They currently have a single flyscreen on the inside on a horizontal track. The downside of this arrangement is that yo can only have one side open at a time - unless you want bugs in theother, which rather defeats the purpose.
The only way I can think of is to have an inward-opening casement-style screen (ie vertically hinged). The problem with this is that the curtains are also in the way, so not perfect.
Does anyone have any better ideas that that?
