Hi Guys,

We used a place called Port Philip Shutters or something for our last house to get some plantation shutters at a reduced cost...

They were great but they come unpainted...and if you've ever painted some you'll know the absolute hell it is to put 3 coats on those suckers. Needless to say I'm not gonna go down that path again.

I've noticed a bunch more places doing the same thing now - with some offering a white 2-pak finish as well...so its just order, wait, assemble and hang...all HEAPS cheaper than a place that comes, measures, etc....

Has anyone done this in the past - any feedback about who to use or not to use?

Some I've found are:
