Process of installing skirtings??
Hi all,
I have just received a quote for installing skirting boards to my house and price is $1430 for;
Supply and install approx 93LM 67mm Lambs Tongue skirting boards.
All skirting fixed to walls with dowel and nails and liquid nails.
All skirtings glossed standard white and gap filled to walls leaving a finished product.
For 93 metres I consider this a good price ( considering they are glossing as well), but I'm just wondering if someone can explain the process of fixing to walls with dowel, nails and liquid nails and if this is a good/acceptable method??
TIA
