Hi everyone,

I would like to replace a large window by a sliding door.
I already have the sliding door ( 1 fixed + 1 sliding panel) which came from an opening of exactly the same size as the window (2150x1800mm).
However I don't have the frame for the sliding door (only the panels).

I have never done this type of work before and the current window's frame seems to be installed flush in the cavity of the double brick (see picture).

* Is it possible to keep the old frame or should I replace it ?

To make things easier, I was hoping to re-use the current frame and simply rivet tracks at the bottom and rails at the top and sides. But after hours of research I just can't find tracks or rails sold separately. They always seem to be part of the frame.
I thought it would be possible to buy and replace only the tracks (
I found example here: http://www.slidingdoorrepair.com/wp-...5/IMG_0902.jpg (removed)
http://www.slidingdoorrepair.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/IMG_0903.jpg (new tracks)).

* Does anyone have an idea where I can get this type of tracks in Australia ?

Thanks a lot,
Mick
