Just looking for a glazed skylight for the garage/studio.

Looked at Velux and Fakro fixed skylights but after the flashing kit which is extra $$ (needs an upstand because the roof pitch is only 8 degrees), they are getting up around $700 to $800 for the full package, even for sizes around 600 x 900.

There's a product out there by Skyspan (in Sydney) called "Skywindow" which seems to be like the budget-line Velux flat roof skylights, only they come with the flashing kit included and sells for about $460 for a 600 x 900 size. Yeah the equivalent by Velux, the FCM 2234, is $330 but there's no flashing kit.

Ok, but can anyone say what they think of the build quality of this Skyspan product, because I can't get to see one (I'm in Canberra and they are in Sydney). TIA.
