Solid Wood Door - Filling large hole
Hi,
For some reasons the previous owner had two handles for each of the solid internal doors. I decided to reuse these doors rather buying new ones. I need to refill one hole for each doors, sand it and repaint again.
The hole is around 2cm, and the side lock is around 3cmx1.5cm rectangular.
Will the some kind of foams good enough? or will it too soft especially the areas is near the other handle and there is a good chance you might accidently push/pressed/door slammed and it will get damaged too easily?
Can anyone please recommend the right product (filler) for this job preferrably from bunnings/masters?
Thanks in advance.
