    Default Dining chair upholstery

    hei folks,
Anyone know of any sites or info on making dining chair upholstery.
The wife has got me making a dining suite and we'd like to do the whole lot ourselves - the cost of getting the uphulstory done is not an issue, we'd just like to be able to tell people we did the lot ourselvles.
    Cheers
    Paul

You don't say if oyu want to upholster the chair seat only (which is easy peasy) or the entire chair (back, arm rests, seat, et al.). If the whole chair, it is a complex job best left to pro's. If the seat only, all you need is some fabric, foam padding, cotton batting, and a staple gun.

    But which is it?
    Cheers,

    Bob

Ideally, whole chair (but there are no arm rests, just seat and back) - wife likes the fully upholstered look...

    Hi all

the better homes and gardens site or there a lots of DIY sites that will have instructins on how and photo's - or the library.

You can get the fabric a spotlight or if you want the new macro suede ask at a furniture makers some will sell you some. My dinning chairs are upholster in it really easy to clean.

Over here in Melbourne some of the TAFE colleges run hobby courses for upholstery. It might be worth checking your colleges.
