Hi,

I'm thinking of installing a folding frame clothesline (Austral Standard 2.4m x 1.5m) in front of my new colourbond fence as I doubt that the fence is strong enough to take the weight. I've got brick pavers (.23m x .23m x .06m) running along the fence.

I'm looking at the model where you bolt the plate to your paver at each end. However, I'm wondering whether the pavers will be dislodged due to the weight, as they're just sitting on sand and although tightly set, not really what I'd call strong.

I guess I could remove one paver at each end, install the posts 0.5m deep in concrete, and then either cut the pavers and replace them as best I can or seal the area with concrete. But I think bolts and plates would look better.

I'm also toying with the idea of removing the paver, installing a column of concrete, replacing the paver then drilling through the paver into the concrete and using long dyna bolts.

Any ideas would be appreciated.
