Do you need nylon plugs with coach screw into stud?
Hi guys,
I'm about to secure a fixture into a stud (wall). I bought some m10 coach screws but then saw a few nylon plugs (the ones with the spikey bits and slots in them) lying around the toolbox that are the for m10 wood screws. Is it necessary to use the nylon plugs? I thought coach screws go directly into the stud but now I'm a little confused.
I've used the regular spaghetti wall plugs going into hollow brick, and the ones that go into plasterboard but never anything into wall studs.
Thanks,
Ben
