TEOTWAWKI and the picnic basket
Cecile says it is my job to organise the picnic basket and put it in the car.
So how much stuff can I fit in and still have room for the Bushfire kit and all the water??
Just how much gear do you fellas put in?/ I have the stainless steel folding windshield, the grate, the BBQ rack, 2 big billys, cutting boards and 3 sharp knives, eating irons, cups plus spare cups for the hitch-hiker we never pick up; coffee, teabags, sugar, packet soup, lots of condiments like salt and pepper stolen from Maccas; then we have all the little things that make life worth living.
Champagne and red wine ( cask of course) lolly water for SWMBO, water for drinking and making tea & coffee, good glassware, plates to eat off ( stainless again and paper ) emergency chockolate bars and the inevitable chewing gum for when we forget to pack the toothbrushes.
Napkins, baby wipes, soap and water substitute, rubbish bags and recycle bag, the list could go on but I'll stop there for the moment.
Where do I put all this stuff? we need a good old-fashioned box with handles and wheels I think, any-one got some good easy to follow plans from the 50s???? or 60s?
