Termite risk to second level?
Excuse my ignorance but I come from a colder climate and know very little about termites!
If the ground floor of my house is double brick and I am constructing a timber framed second level on top, would termites travel up the brick to get to the softwood above or is that to far for them?
Ultimately what I'm asking is should I use standard timber for the framing or do I need to get the treated stuff?
Thanks
