Vents in void between ground floor ceiling and first floor floor
Hi,
My house was originally a single storey, but an additional clad storey has been added above. There are vents in the brickwork which would have originally gone into the roof area, but now go into the ceiling/floor void between ground floor and the floor above. The insulation in the house isn't great, and I don't think this helps. I plan to fill the vents with expanding foam to help. Does this sound a good idea, or should I have the vents there?
Thanks, Phil.
