My 1st two Boxes
G'day All,
Just made my first 2 boxes, the first, the lighter one, for my daughter as a small jewelry box ( not perfect) she loved it and as far as I'm concerned that's what"s it all about.
The second box, took a little longer as I went to 1/4" spiral upcut bit as per Cruzi's advice. I'm quite happy with the end result but I do admit that there's more room to improve. I just gave it as a present to an old friend and needless to say she was absolutely ecstatic and again that's what's it all about, hope you enjoy and comment.
Regards
Jack

Nice work Jack. You do some very neat finger joints. And, what a delight for you when your recipients are so appreciative. That is a lot of the fun of making boxes.

Very nice finger joints. Those spiral router bits do a nice job, don't they?
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.
