    Default Australian Woodsmith Toolchest-Aug. 2010 Issue #79

Hi Y`all, Just received a copy of Australian Woodsmith Magazine and got to noticing that the hardware source for the plan is not listed in the back of the magazine. What`s up with that? It`s available here in the states! So, I would like to make available that hardware kit that is sold here in the US. to all my woodworking friends down under.. Also if there are any questions in regards to the imperial to metric conversion. don`t hesitate to ask... gDAY! Seppo! I mean MATE! (Just teasing!)

Ruddy made this exact tool box awhile back so search his posts, he also made a larger version which turned out really nice to!

Thanks for the offer for the kit, I will definatley make this toolchest one day and will call on your advice!

Hows those Mexicans coming accross the border treating you? Dang...you Texans sure know how to roll the red carpet out to those fellas! I have a buddy in the Coast Guard in California and he catches the Pangas trying to motor north with the drugs. A real problem!

    Cheers again!

    Thanks Milo,

I`ll be sure to check out Ruddy`s posts. It`s been some time since I`v been on the board here.

Problem with the wetback is they cross the boarder and then vote democrat as insurance. Lack of money is the root of all evil... Perhaps when the Obamination is out of office things will change for the good this time.

Seppo ? Can you fill me in on that one?

    Gaawwwd damn BillieBob!

I love the machinest chest on your website!! I have a fixation for Toolboxes and workbenches and boats....buts thats another story!

Have a looky at my post when I made my toolbox.....its a POS compared to what you have there but my late fathers was built in the early 60's in South Africa, he was a pattern maker. Its a simple design no frills box but what is very interesting is that it is built out of brazilain mahogany from the orginal post office door in the Dutch castle in Cape Town - vintage 1700's - the Dutch arrived in the Cape in 1652.

    Old tool boxes....luv em..
