Lovely job spankin', there is someting very classy about matching the box and contents,
A few years ago there was a great hullabaloo about the dire forecast that, within a few years, we would ONLY have bamboo to work with.
I guess that being able to turn it probably answers my qusestion but ....what was it like to work with? does it remain 'stringy' and therefore hard to cut across grain and glue?

    Thanks every one.
Its not to bad to work with. I found that it did become a little 'stringy' but a nice sharp blade and cut it slowly is the key.
Its is also extremely easy to sand but i have been told that its is like breathing in glass so good dust protection is a must.
