    Default Bead Storage Box

    This box was made for a family friend who makes beaded jewellery. The top section is to hold various tools and pieces while the drawers are divided to store different items.
    The main box is from Kauri and the lid centre is a curly Maple veneer with Australian Cedar surrounds.

    Now that's a very special piece of artwork Ruddy! Those inlayed bars in the front panel are awesome, what are they? I love the set-up it's all very neat and cool. I bet they'll love it!

    The overal design,craftmanship and finish is superb, but for me I think that the timber combination for the lid would look better if the insert was Kauri to match the box carcass or the cedar was Kauri. In other words the lid looks out of sink with the rest.....thats just my opinion
