Beefwood Boxes
I have been working with some beautiful highly figured Beefwood lately. One box i made for stock led to orders for four more, two of which are heading to Belgium.

Lovely boxes. That Beefwood is really spectacular and the finish you have used really shows the beauty.
Very impressive. And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.

Beautiful boxes . . . but I hope you're aware of the bleeding that Beefwood is known for regardless of your finish!? A light sand or scrape about 12 months after you finish them usually ends the problem but I've had to fix most of it again at about 2 years before the bleeding stops altogether. We took a few slabs to Maleny years ago and couldn't sell a stick! - all the local woodies there knew about the issue so we had to cart them home again

Very slick looking box
Clever use of the quarter sawn feature as well
Every time I look at it I drool
Impeccably executed design
