That is beautiful Tas, well done.
This is a design i have had in mind to make but my only concern is that i want the slide movement to be silky smooth and not have the drawer grab on the box sides when pulling out and pushing in. I notice your drawer fits snug at the base and there is a slight gap at the top, have you done this on purpose to eliminate the grab ?

Yes. Too fine a tolerance on the drawer could get tricky. I allow extra gap because Im not very precise, but because the box is always sitting on its base and as long as it fits right and looks straight in that position thats what is important to me and it ensures smooth sliding.

What everyone has said....a beautiful box. I do like the design.
And my head I'd be a scratchin'
While my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
