Default My latest (and greatest) box

    Hi all,

This box has taken me a while to build and has used a lot of timber also. It's made entirely from Australian red cedar, the legs for example could be about 70 years old, the lighter cedar would only be a couple of years old. The overall size is 290mm high x 240mm wide x 190mm deep. The only other timber used is silky oak for the small handles.

Only the bottom 3 drawers actually open, all 3 with dovetail joints, sorry my photo doesn't show those.

In the top compartment it should hold up to about 20 rings.

Hopefully my photos tell the story of the rest of the box.

    Regards, Paul

It's only a mistake if you don't learn from it.
