box corners
I am making some boxes and would like to put some decorative corners into them
I have seen were the corners are cut with a table saw using a jig, which holds the box on its corner.
Then they cut simple little triangles out of a different material and insert them into the table saw cuts
As I don't know what this jig or procedure is called, I am struggling to search for information on it
Could someone please steer me in the right direction
Thanking you in advance

"keyed mitre". The little triangles are the "keys".

The jig doesn't have to be anything fancy, just make sure the 90deg angles on jig and box are accurate or you will end up with odd looking keys.
MarkWhat you say & what people hear are not always the same thing.
