My box making jig
I have for the past three years constructed boxes with what I call strip designs. I can honestly say they have been stable and I have not experienced any deformities on a completed box due to seasonal or warpage changes so I will most probably carry on using this technique.
However getting the strips cut at times to be honest has not always been the safest way to enjoy woodwork and also some pieces have needed additional attention to obtain square faces to get satisfactory gluing.
So started on a jig earlier this week (in waste box thread at projects)
First two pictures are repeated from this thread.

3,the main structure of the jig that will ride along the sawtable fence.
4. A piece of sycamore around 270mm long, 40W & 12mm deep.
laying on table to be stripped.
5. Placed in position in the jig.
6 passed over saw blade.
7 the strip extracted and displayed.
8 Three strips cut from original sample above.
9. consiering whether to fit a perspex guard that would enclose blade further, but there is not a lot of blade exposed so not a priority at the moment.
10 a thinner strip cut from original strip, no worries at all.
11. A short length put to the test.
12. A shot of the timber passing the blade.

If I'm using offcuts it means I can feed timber on to the fence from the far side and not needing to reset fence and get timber strips all the same dimension. If feeding the conventional way, blade guard usually restricts the push stick going past the blade so timber widths are difficult under 15mm.
I found yesterday that ripped lengths need to be over the length of the blade protruding above table otherwise I got drift.
Naturally dont reset your fence until all your timber needs are completed, same for the P/T when cleaning up.
Best of luck with your new boxes.woody U.K.

A good idea. Would like to know how you use the strips in your box making. Maybe a picture of a box made in this way would be great.
Reality is no background music.

I've got one box on the go at the moment (chevron box) using this strip cutting jig, but at the moment I have got sidetracked again with some house maintenance.
