Default Turning box joints on their heads.

Not sure how many of you have seen this but what a fantastic idea/concept. Of course it has been picked up by Rockler.

    enjoy.

Just watched the video, very clever indeed. It's unreal the workshops some of these blokes on youtube have. Leaves my little "half a double garage" for dead. My boxmaking has come to a standstill at present. My beloved De Walt saw table has died, worse than a death in the family. It's currently up in the saw table hospital awaiting a diagnosis and then hopefully an operation in the next few days.

Been around for a while that blade but still haven't heard of anyone actually buying or using one.
Hope your saw recovers quickly Paul and you get a good Medicare rebate.

Ha ha Dallas, good one. I pay top hospital coverage so I should be covered. I've got another little project to keep me busy at present. Just about to put a thread onto the "Finishing" section of this site.

Interestingly I saw that the high-end Felder saws can do this with a regular blade - they tilt it to 45 and raise it just enough to do the correct cut. The big expensive computerised saws of course - forget doing it on a hobbyist saw unless you're good with a dial indicator!
