    Default Box Judged (State Fair 2007)

    Hello All,

    sorry...."BOX Judged" (I was too excited typing the caption.... )

    Well...it's over. The Fine Furniture competition at the 2007 State Fair here in Florida has had it's judging to award the ribbons.

    I'm happy to say that the box that I recently posted too long of a "Work In Process" on an earlier thread has taken 1st. Place. Yeh!!!

    AND,...not only that...it took "Best Of Show" over all of the fine furniture, whether it was a bookcase, table or you name it.

    Here's the pics (as if you haven't seen them before)

    Thank you all for your kind words on the progress of this box and encouragement, which kept me going late into the night.

    Congratulations. It's important to exhibit your best stuff and to look at others' work. Stops you getting into a rut and producing just the one type of thing that may be good, but not progressing.
