    Default Box Makers Procedure for adoption.

    Box Makers Swap procedure, do you agree with this proposal, if No please discuss.

    Procedures for ~ Christmas 2006 UBeaut’s Box Makers Mystery Swap
    1. Participation in the Mystery Swap will commence by you own nomination, that is by registering your interest and intention to participate in this charity fund raiser on this Box Making Forum thread.
    2. Nominations to participate in this Christmas 2006 Mystery Swap should be made within 14 days of the posting of this thread.
    3. Nominees will be paired by the organiser, by a drawing of names from a UBeaut Forum cap. The organiser will then publish that information on the Box Making Forum thread.
    4. The paired nominees will then exchange their private information to facilitate the timber swap.
    5. The paired nominees will agree to a “swap date”.
    6. Timber swap limited to 3kg (keep postage costs down), and may be either slab or block timber.
    7. Timber swapped shall be dry and therefore ready to use.
    8. Timber that is swapped shall be the predominate timber used, that is other timber may be added to make up size or used as an inlay etc.
    9. There is no minimum limit on timber to be swapped, but it should be sufficient to make a reasonable sized box. (but a give and you shall receive approach will is stressed).
    10. Images of the finished works shall be posted on the Box Making Forum, by each Box Maker, within 31 days of the agreed swap date.
    11. Each box will be auctioned individually by silent auction. That is a Forum member may bid on one or both boxes.
    12. All silent auction bids to be made by sending by a Private Message to the organiser.
    13. The identity of the highest bidder will not be published unless contrary advice is given to the organiser.
    14. The amount of the successful bid will be published on the Box Making Forum thread, by the organiser.
    15. The successful bidder will then pay the amount of the successful bid to the Box Maker.
    16. The cost of delivery/postage of the box to the successful bidder may be deducted from the proceeds of the auction.
    17. The Box Maker is responsible for (i) ensuring the box is mailed to the successful bidder and (ii) ensuring that the proceeds of the silent auction sale is donated to a charity of the Box Makers choice.
