Hi there
Thanks for the interest in the box timbers. I have had about 50 responses through PM's and phone calls. I have not responded to all the PM's individually, but I have noted down everyone's details and will be in touch in the new year, but give me a while to get underway. In the meantime, happy box making!
Cheers
James

I'm also interested in a box, depending on price.

So do you reckon you would have pieces about saucer size? 130mm square by 20mm thick approximately? Even smaller for lids for my sugar bowls.

Just for the sake of others who might be wondering, I thought I would ask 'here' if you would be willing to freight any of your smaller packages?

Postage details.
Hi guys
I can certainly post people smaller boxes, which is what I might have to do if everyone would like a share! 20kg is the most I can post with Australia post, and I am currently experimenting with a few box sizes to see what comes under the size and weight limits. I will post on this forum when I have found the most suitable box size, it's dimensions and expected weight and expected postal costs to each capital city in Australia. From this people can estimate their postage costs.
Just a general question, is 400mm long enough for most box making timber, as a lot of the postal and courier boxes are about this length?
Cheers
James

Excellent, I'm definitely interested if it can be shipped. Speaking for myself only, 400mm is very convenient for me. What's everyone else reckon?
