I love these boxes you are making, very elegant and not overstated . And as usual I still can't see the join where you have cut the drawer, so I need to keep practicing . I got hold of some burl veneers yesterday so i'm stepping up my game to produce something as good as you have here.

The box looks like it has a finish on it ??. If so what are the benefits in cutting after finishing?

Finished this one today. Double.d, I find it easier to polish the box as a whole first as it is less fiddly when using hand applied finishes.
