I love these boxes you are making, very elegant and not overstated . And as usual I still can't see the join where you have cut the drawer, so I need to keep practicing . I got hold of some burl veneers yesterday so i'm stepping up my game to produce something as good as you have here.

Thanks. You cant see the join for the drawer because its not there yet. I will post more pics of the finished boxes on the weekend. No veneer in these boxes only solid wood.

The box looks like it has a finish on it ??. If so what are the benefits in cutting after finishing?

Finished this one today. Double.d, I find it easier to polish the box as a whole first as it is less fiddly when using hand applied finishes.

Wow, that's inspiring Loved how you used the flaws/knots and made them the feature.

    Thanks.

I'm lost for words TasSculptor, this is one of the most stunning boxes I have seen.
Thanks for sharing, this is what makes these forums so great.
    Cheers, Ian
