Default Not boxes but no section for them

Team, seeing as there isn’t a section for Beauty or grooming products, I thought I would post here as I know they will be appreciated by the box making community. Moderator, please move if not deemed worthy of box making.

Some of you may or may not know of the Northern Silky Oak story but a while back I was given a cot, from a lady that she was in as a baby plus both of her kids, so to say thanks, I gave her this

I was also given by the box recipient’s “mum”, 2 x Northern Silky Oak single beds. Now it turns out that not only the daughter and her kids were in the cot but so was her mum. Anyway the grand daughters used to spend time at nannas and used to sell in these beds before they were dismantled and given to Moir. NaN has since passed away, and due to my slackness before she got to see these, so they will hold special meaning to the girls to receive something that they can keep from Nana.

The idea was was taken from the wood review a while back. And to show how slack and distracted I got, I started these on the 3rd Oct 2018.

PS. The mirror is acrylic so that if dropped it won’t break and will last a long time. Also if scratched it could possibly be buffed out.

Very nice work on the box and the mirrors, and a great thought.

Great end result on both parts. Some jobs just seem to drag on forever, at least me me anyway. Can't see why this section wouldn't be appropriate as you started with a box and now you have enhanced it.
How did you create the rebate for the mirror?

Love the way you've used the figure in the lid of the box Very nicely done . . . and the mirrors aren't bad either!

36 pieces all cut at 10deg. For the progressive Breakdown have a look at the Thread named “starburst box”, oh and thanks. I’m finishing hard to top that one. I really am.
