Default Hand dovetailed red gum jewellry box

After a lot of work I have finished a jewelry box. It is a fiddleback red gum handcut dovetail box.It has American rock maple lid with a Pyrography of honeysuckle. The finger tabs are made of ebony. Finished with garnet shellac and Kunos oil. A very late 18th birthday present but better late than never.

You sure have put a lot of work into that box, very nice work. Drawers are always pretty fiddly to get just right also, well done.

Very nice. Quite a combination of skills there that show off the timbers to their greatest advantage.
