Default Large CD/DVD storage - salvaged Black Bean

    Hello all,
Just completed an 80th gift for one of dad's mates.

He got 'wet' in the flood and noticed the workmen throwing some timber on a pile. Suddenly realising it was 125mm x 40mm x 2m Black Bean he passed it on to us!

So the least we could do is mill it , make a box and give it back to him!

425mm x 250mm x 180mm Black Bean and Queen Ebony. Floating lid, mitre keys, wooden hinges and leather base, it should hold his assorted CDs and DVDs. Finished with Liberon Danish Oil. (delivered from the UK cheaper than you can purchase locally!)

Next project is 3 simple document boxes for a shop in town.

    regards
    Billy

Very nice. that timber is just stunning and to think they were going to throw it out.
    Great salvage and well done.
