Default Continuing the pen box theme

I wasn't sure whether to put these here or in the pen making forum, so tossed a coin and here they are. It's a little batch of pen boxes I made recently to get my box and pen making started for this year.
The boxes are all finished with Tru Oil and the pens are finished with CA. The inspiration comes from David at Timberbits as shown on his videos.

Very nice Dallas, Pens and boxes are excellent. Your pens are very advanced, way more than mine. I've got some timber prepared for a box to hold 2 pens in. I ordered a 1/2 inch cove bit and will get to work on them when that arrives. I think I have worked out what my finishes on pens will be. After a lot of playing around. I'll send you a copy when I am sure its what I want.

Very nice boxes Dallas, you have some recipients lined up for these?

Thanks for your comments Paul. No I don't have any recipients lined up at this stage but hopefully someone will see an attraction down the track. At the moment I am happy just to start building up some stock again as I was just about cleaned out at the end of last year with a couple of exhibitions I took part in.
I think we all go through a number of different finishes on pens before we settle on 1 or 2 preferred ones. I like the CA as it is very resilient and flashy which make them stand out in the crowd. Unless you have something that is a bit different they just blend in with the rest, which there are plenty of.

Dallas, The pens and boxes are great. I don't know how you find the time for everything you do. regards John.
