Default Cremation urn in unknown burl

This cremation urn was made from a burl of unknown timber, supplied by the client. There were a couple of large voids in the burl that had to be filled with tinted epoxy, but otherwise the process was straightforward. It's lined with pigskin suede.

Never considered putting a burl back together in that form - very nicely done Alex . . . but then I'd expect nothing less from you!

I've got some Blue gum burl (Forest Red Gum) that looks exactly like that . . . hmmmm!

Thanks TTIT. Not sure what the timber is, it came from near Bogabilla.

Oops! It came from near Mungindi, not Bogabilla.

Delivered yesterday, and the client and family are very happy with it.

So, Alex, the inside dimensions are the same as the plastic container one's ashes are placed in by the crematorium staff?

Yes Homesy, the container from the crematorium is a neat fit.
