Cremation urn in unknown burl
This cremation urn was made from a burl of unknown timber, supplied by the client. There were a couple of large voids in the burl that had to be filled with tinted epoxy, but otherwise the process was straightforward. It's lined with pigskin suede.

Never considered putting a burl back together in that form - very nicely done Alex . . . but then I'd expect nothing less from you!
I've got some Blue gum burl (Forest Red Gum) that looks exactly like that . . . hmmmm!

It's beautiful!
When all is said and done, there is usually a whole lot more said than done.

So, Alex, the inside dimensions are the same as the plastic container one's ashes are placed in by the crematorium staff?
