Very nice work CZ top marks. Just one criticism about the photography, You haven't done your work justice. Would have looked a million dollars had the box been pictured with a nice plain background to compliment it.
Sorry I am being picky but I think that box deserved to be showed off properly. Excellent work though.
    Reality is no background music.

    Default big lids

    Hi capt. Zero,

I found it makes an easy job if you cut a rebate on the inside edge before yoy assemble the box. About 2/3 deep, drill a couple of marker holes so you can cut after the box is glued up. I personally use a jap flush cut saw for the operation. Very little sanding required after the cut.

Excellent work. Nice looking box. I would love to see a small tutorial on how you do the diamond inlays.
